Whether they make a difference is up to us...she needs to be flooded with angry responses until the air clears and the issue exposed as a distortion she created. Write those letters to the editor of the rag she works for and post them online naming her, the magazine, and the blog where you posted them. They'll show up on Google every time her name is input! I think you are not checking your facts. Fernandes told Gallaudet Today in 1983 that she became deaf at age four. During the protest, she said she was "born deaf." The only reason it is important is because it shows that she is lying. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what age she became deaf.
