Gally Alumnus’s Letter To Editor
As an alumnus of Gallaudet, I think Jane Fernandes is quite a brilliant, persistent, and determined person. But achieving high-level success requires the support and cooperation of others, and that, in turn, requires leadership ability. It was clear she did not demonstrate adequate leadership to garner the support she needed. But what is even sadder is Fernandes’s stance that she was considered not “deaf enough.” Her words amounted to a transparent rationalization of her shortcomings.

It is my understanding that
Juan Vietorisz has a blogsite
containing messages from a number of pro-Fernandes fans.
Would SKS provide the URL
of the blogsite.
Merci beaucoup.

Jean,
Why, yes I do have a blogsite. You can find it at
http://javietz.blogspot.com  I’m not sure I understand what you are implying about my blogsite containing messages from pro-Fernandes fans. I did receive 1 or 2 flamming and pointless comments from one of them, who hid behind an anonymous name. That person was either a pro-Fernandes fan or a pest who was fond of provoking people and disturbing their peace.

The website isn’t showing up.
Please check. Thanks.

So, it doesn’t. I dunno why, but you can just “copy & paste” and then hit the ENTER key.

I figured out why it doesn’t show when you click on it:
For some reason, the last period (com. at the END of com.) was interpreted by the computer as being part of the URL (you’d think the computer would be smart enough to ignore it, but apparently not). So when you click on the URL above, it goes to javietz.blogspot.com./ (note the final period) …and naturally can’t find it. You have to remove the period to make it work.
