I KNEW CHRIS LAMBERT MANY YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS YOUNG STUDENT DURING MY SENIOR YEAR, CHRIS USED TO BE OVERNIGHT STAFF FOR TLC DORM MANY YEARS AGO IN 1993, THEN AFTER MY GRADUATED FROM TLC IN 94, I MET CHRIS AGAIN AT BAR AND WE CHATTED, WE HAD GOOD FRIENDSHIP BUT I NEVER SAW CHRIS AGAIN SINCE 95. IT IS REALLY TRAGEDY FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRIS LAMBERT AND TALLIE ANTION. BUT I REMEMBERED CHRIS AS WILD AND FUNNY GUY WHEN WE SPEND THE GOOD OLD DAYS TOGETHER.

I knew Chris for a long time and then met Tallie through him back when he lived in Boston. I worked with him from time to time, and socialized with him, too. In October/November before the murder he came to see my apartment near Boston- he was looking for a roommate and he was having problems with his relationship. He mentioned that he had a dog and I thought the landlord may not be ok with that… but then I never heard back from him. I went to France for 7 months in January 2004, and when I got back I heard about what happened. I was shocked and devastated for him and Tallie. I was sad because I knew them both and never knew Chris to be violent; he was always very sweet, even though he liked to party. Tallie was also a sweet person. I know that drugs can mess a person up. I am still very sad for Chris, and of course for Tallie and her family. It is an awful tragedy.

I knew CL thru my work and social events. I am still amazed that he murdered Tallie. He is a very likeable person with everyone in the social events. It is his dark side of his life which we didn’t know about. It is not only about his drug problems but his controlling type. Even both hurt each others often but Chris has no right to claim Tallie’s life. While I worked with him, I knew his drug problems due to his tardiness and absenteem. Again the way he behaved — telling clients/staffs – he has a bad cold etc etc. Finally he left his job and headed to the detox down the Cape. That was back in ‘92. After that I saw him occassionally til he disappeared from Massachusetts.

Chris may have been sweet back then. Unfortunately drugs can mess up a perosn big time.

I personally knew Chris in High School and was surprised at comments you all wrote about Chris. I never knew he had a nasty temper. He was ALWAYS sweet and ALWAYS cheering everybody up!

I only saw both (Chris and Tallie) once at airport for like only 1 minute before he flew off back to where they lived. That was last time I ever saw him before few months later Tallie died.

I cannot judge on both of them, because I don’t know what he has done after High School was over. However, I hope things are going ok for Chris at least and I give deep condolences to Tallie’s family.

Both Tallie and Chris were my former roommates in DC. I have seen firsthand how awful their relationship was.

The abuse wasnt one-sided. It went both ways.

I was deeply devasted when I received the news of her murder on the same day it was announced.

Yes, Tallie was very sweet. She was also very manipulative in getting things her way.

Chris was a very funny guy and fun to be around with but he had a nasty temper on him that no one liked to mess with.

I agree with Elizabeth. No one deserves being beaten up like Tallie was.

I hope justice will finally be served for once and for all.

In many abusive relationships, both do some of the abusing. Just because you saw Tallie throw a chair at him doesn’t mean that he wasn’t actively beating her, Ridor.

I personally counselled an ex-friend of mine to get out of a relationship. She told me “I hit him first” but honestly they were both doing it and you know, he’s the bigger person and if she ticks him off enough she’s gonna be the one murdered, not him.
Both of those people I knew have very lousy attitudes towards people they date in general. They would probably be abusive to any other partner they had, but they are extra-horrible with each other because they know each other’s buttons too well as they both came from abusive backgrounds. I think they’ve long since broken up, which is half good, half bad cuz it means more potential victims later on.

Now I can’t say the same for those two people as I never knew them. People can find themselves acting out family dysfunctions all of a sudden.

I didn’t include the announcement of the capital murder charge here, but it was recently announced, hmm, I think last week.

I have heard many stories how sweet Tallie was. People told me how violent Chris was to Tallie many times and how he abused drugs.

It is very difficult for anyone to live in an healthy atmostphere if someone is abusing drugs big time. Nobody deserves to be beated up at all, like Tallie was.

How do you know it was the capital murder trial? I do not see any information on this at all.

I personally knew this couple — they are crazy. Chris abusing drugs all the time. Tallie beats up on Chris — yes, she does, I saw it with my eyes she threw a chair at him when she caught him smoking something. I suspect something in Chris snapped and finished it all.
